Practical, Economical Solutions
The development of engaging and easy-to-use labs, activities and curricula for the sustained professional education of teachers with new assignments (as opposed to short-term workshops).
ABOUT TLF
All schools, districts and states face the issue of the unequal distribution of highly-effective K12 teachers. This unequal distribution is directly related to shortages and the expenses of recruitment, development and retention of teachers. The TLF assists with a combined solution that provides 1) subject-specific instructional support and subject-specific mentoring for teachers with new assignments and 2) personalized learning and remedial online assistance for students with administrative tracking. Further, research has shown that better prepared teachers leads to improved student achievement, graduation rates, college and workforce readiness, and economic development.
