Participating universities offered 100 online courses (that are linked at right) to assist teachers with new subject-specific assignments, particularly those who do not have a collegiate major or minor in the new assignment. Each course was designed to prepare a teacher to be not only highly-qualified but also highly-effective with new assignments. Empirical evidence of success is provided at links on University Partners page..

(Note: To be awarded Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) or in-service points/hours toward certification as highly-qualified, for any of these courses, a teacher must pass the course post-test and, if required for license renewal or recertification, a district or state endorsed content mastery or subject-area test (fees are extra for these in addition to the subject-specific courses)

For instructional support resources only (no independent course)

without the online course, for those teachers with a collegiate major or minor in the specific subject but facing a new subject assignment

For those teachers with a collegiate major or minor in the specific subject but facing a new subject assignment, only the instructional support resources are recommended (meaning, no for-credit course necessary.). For instructional support only options and pricing, see https://teaching-point.net/

Note to District Superintendents, Staff Development and Professional Development Directors regarding addition of 100 subject-specific courses to their Master In-service Plan for teacher license renewal
